Refloor provides the following 4-Part Limited Lifetime Guarantee to the purchaser of Refloor’s Smart-Choice Package® and Premium Vinyl Flooring Package as long as the original purchaser remains in the home.
1. Lifetime Labor Guarantee
This limited guarantee covers any defects in the original installation due to labor. Labor is defined as any issues directly related to the installation process. Our team will repair or correct these issues at no cost to you. This guarantee applies only to the original installation.
2. Lifetime Gap-Free Guarantee
This limited guarantee covers any gap of greater than three (3) millimeters occurring between two or more planks at any time following installation. Owner must notify Refloor for one (1) gap immediately upon discovery. Refloor will repair or relock the planks at no cost to you. Gapping due to SUBFLOOR ISSUES including movement, deflection, warping, moisture, breakdown, expansion/contraction, or joist problems are NOT covered under this guarantee.
3. Lifetime 5-Plank Guarantee®
This guarantee covers the replacement of up to five damaged planks. Refloor will provide the owner with five additional planks at the time of installation, which will be used for a claim under this guarantee. If the owner no longer possesses the provided planks or if they are otherwise unusable. the owner may purchase additional planks at the prevailing retail list price, if available. Owner understands that colors may be discontinued and dye-lots may vary over time. so replaced planks may not match originally-installed product. It is the owner’s responsibility to notify Refloor within seven days of completed installation if the five planks were not provided. any service request made by the owner to repair damage beyond five planks is not covered under this guarantee and owner will be charged for additional work.
4. Lifetime Love It or Leave it Guarantee®
Refloor wants you to love your flooring for life. If at any time and for any reason you decide you no longer love your floor, Refloor will credit you 50% of the original purchase price toward a new replacement floor from Refloor. For example, if you paid $5,500 for your floor and you want to replace it with a new color, we will deduct $2,750 from the price of your new flooring package purchase. Current promotional offers may be applied at the time of the new purchase. No additional discounts will apply. The new flooring project must replace all areas from the original installation. There is no limit to how many times this Guarantee may be used. The 50% credit will be calculated from the original flooring purchase for each claim. Simply call Refloor and mention the “Love It or Leave It Guarantee,” and this credit will be applied towards your new purchase.
The Refloor 4-Part Lifetime Guarantee: To request an inspection for a service under this guarantee, please contact Refloor Customer Service by submitting a service request at refloor.com/service/ or by calling 844-REFLOOR. If an exact original product or part is no longer available, Refloor reserves the right to substitute a similar part or product of equal or greater quality. These limited Guarantees give you specific rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
Transferability: The 4-Part Lifetime Guarantee is transferable to the next homeowner for a one-time fee of 10% of the original purchase price of your Refloor Smart-Choice Package® or Premium Vinyl Flooring Package. Refloor must be notified in writing, and payment must be received within thirty (30) days of the property transfer. With payment, Owner must include a copy of the title transfer agreement for the home. If both payment and title transfer are not received by Refloor within 30 days of the property transfer, any and all guarantees on the flooring will be void as to the new Owner of the property.
Refloor offers the best Guarantees in the industry, protecting you and your investment. Please review the information below to see how you are covered:
1. Guarantee Activation:
- The Owner must be present on the final day of installation. After completion, the Owner must complete a “walk-through” inspection with the Installer or via phone with the Installation Coordinator. This ensures the project is completed in accordance with the Work Order and any immediate concerns are addressed on-site
- Refloor Guarantees only become active after the Work Order is paid in-full, the walk-through inspection is completed, and a certificate of completion is signed.
2. What’s Not Covered:
- Refloor Guarantees assume normal and reasonable use of products. The Guarantees do not cover issues outside of Refloor’s control, including: Failure of installed products due to SUBFLOOR ISSUES including movement, deflection, warping, moisture, breakdown, expansion/contraction, or joist problems.
- Settling of the property, improper use of the product, acts of nature, or structural failure of the foundation or walls.
- Damage caused from furniture or seating with rolling casters or wheels, including wheelchairs.
- Damage to more than 5 planks caused by normal wear-and-tear, accidents, misuse or abuse, improper maintenance or cleaning methods, or exposure to moisture/humidity or other environmental conditions beyond what is recommended for the type of flooring.
- Damage caused by insurable occurrences such as flooding, fire, smoke, lightning/electricity, wind/windblown objects, earthquakes, hurricanes, or ice damage.
3. Guarantee Voids:
Guarantees will be voided if:
- Owner fails to complete the walk-through inspection on the last day of installation.
- Any fixtures, including kitchen islands, appliances, or other heavy objects, that are placed on the installed floor after project completion that lock the planks in place and prevent expected expansion and contraction of the planks.
- Any repair, rip-up, or re-installation or Refloor flooring is completed by anyone other than a Refloor-appointed contractor without Refloor’s express written permission.
- The flooring is modified in any way or no longer remains where it was originally installed.
NOTE: If the Guarantees are voided, owner opts out/releases themselves or Refloor, or if otherwise not covered under Refloor’s 4-Part Lifetime Guarantee, Refloor may refuse to service previously installed Smart-Choice or Premium Vinyl Flooring Package.
